With the growing concern over cigarettes, another type of nicotine product is gaining popularity among teens and adults. Oral “tobacco magazine products” (without tobacco) like lozenges are appealing because they’re Youth Friendly! However, it’s important not to forget that these can deliver varying amounts of harmful chemicals such as Nicotine which may be addictive in itself.

As vaping becomes more prevalent across all age groups there has been an increase for youth seeking out alternative delivery methods like chewing gum or breath mints containing nicotine with flavors similar to those used by smokers.

One of the newest trends in tobacco products is oral nicotine pouches and lozenges. There are many brands including Zyn, On!, Velo! These come with flavors that appeal to youth which could be contributing factors for their increased popularity among young people today.

According to data from Nielsen reported in an industry news article, nicotine nic pouches no tobacco sales grew 470% over the first half of 2020. Reports show that 13% of 15-24-year-olds surveyed were past 30-day users and concerns about young people using these products are increasing among health professionals such as Dr. Jennifer Riter who says “The trend we’re seeing is really concerning.”

Nicotine pouches come in a variety of flavors and can provide an alternative to smoking. They’re placed between your lip and gum, meaning there’s no tobacco involved but it does contain nicotine as well as other ingredients such sweeteners or plant-based fibers that give them their taste profile – often they have bright colors because these companies want you to notice how colorful life is!

While Zynaptiq has been around longer than On!, Velo was recently introduced on shelves here at Walmart stores nationwide with its own unique style while still maintaining some similarities from both older brands.

The long-term health impact of nicotine pouches is still unknown. Not technically categorized as smokeless tobacco, these products are not yet regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to their small size–as smaller than cigarettes but larger than cigars or pipes; however, they can deliver just as much vaping fluid into your lungs which means there could be some risks associated with them too! Long-term data for this type of product isn’t currently available so we don’t know how reduced exposure will translate into reducing harm to our overall well-being over time. Flat-out restrictions exist in place preventing flavored nicotine-pouched flavors like cotton candy from entering restaurants where no other foods contain nuts.
